TGA has worked with Zava since January 2021, embedded inside the client’s own squad structure, each squad responsible for a distinct area such as user accounts or the CMS, with its own engineering manager and product owner. TGA developers cover frontend, backend and QA work within that structure, delivering day-to-day features, testing the patient questionnaire and ordering flows, and contributing to major platform releases alongside Zava’s own engineers rather than running a separate workstream. The core patient ordering system is built in PHP and Laravel, with TypeScript used throughout and Docker-based local development environments, managed through Lando, and a modernisation effort already under way is understood to be moving parts of the frontend toward React, Next.js and TypeScript. Testing runs on Playwright, Cypress, Postman and BrowserStack, with Jenkins handling continuous integration. The legacy admin and content areas span Vue, AngularJS, PHP and the Kirby content management system.

In 2025, TGA’s team contributed to the successful launch of Zava’s service into Spain, the company’s fifth market.
